D is for Dawn

Dawn arrives a bit sooner each day
Sunlight rising over budding branches
Each morning I'm closer to work
as the streetlights wink out to the morning light

Just this morning
spectacular lighted views
Climbing hill top
Out of valley shadow
and into warm light of dawn

Glowing budding branches

What a beautiful poem. I can just imagine the view as the sun comes over the trees.

I like Dawn comes a bit sooner. The start of the poem grips you through.
